Skull Island (Washington) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Skull Island (Washington) Skull Island, one of two of that name in the San Juan Archipelago in the U.S. state of Washington, is a uninhabited island at the center of Skull Island State Park. It is located in Massacre Bay off the coast of Orcas Island, the largest of the San Juans. This island was named because of the skulls and bones that were found there after a band of Lummi were killed by raiding Haida in 1858.〔Hitchman, Robert. ''Place Names of Washington''.
